Think you are obligated? Kite Environmental Solutions are partnering with companies to provide support and guidance with our data management service, to help calculate your obligation through our three steps to compliance.
Step 1 - Assess
We offer a data management service to help complete your assessment. Working with you, we develop a bespoke system for collecting the necessary data, including the recycled content of your plastic packaging.
Step 2 - Calculate
You collect the data & evidence, and we will help you solve any issues you may have when collecting your data. We then complete your calculations and produce your report. Every quarter we will request new data and repeat the process.
Step 3 - Report
Kite’s reports summarise your obligations to enable you to complete your submission to HMRC. You then simply upload your Plastic Packaging Tax return to the HMRC portal.
As we are the only Compliance Scheme part of a major UK packaging company, this gives us extensive packaging knowledge along with dealing with the Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) on a daily basis. This means we are well situated to help your company assess the potential impact of the Plastic Packaging tax and help you register your liability.
