Graduate Pricing and Strategy Analyst Coventry
Location: Coventry
Want to become a Graduate Pricing & Strategy Analyst in one of the UK’s leading and fastest growing B2B packaging suppliers? Kite Packaging is an employee-owned business with ferociously ambitious growth plans. We operate the UK’s largest packaging ecommerce website.
You will be joining an established, profitable, growing technology-backed business and will be part of an industry-leading team. This is an opportunity for a highly motivated and commercially minded individual who wants to develop their skills in pricing, data analytics and business strategy while having a direct impact on commercial performance.
As a Graduate Pricing & Strategy Analyst working in Kite Packaging’s ecommerce division in Coventry, you will work within a collaborative, like-minded team environment alongside our commercial, marketing, analytics and product teams.
You will analyse pricing, sales, customer and product data to identify opportunities to improve revenue and margin while maintaining target gross profit levels. You will forecast the impact of price changes, including the sales growth or volume required to offset changes in margin and deliver the desired commercial outcome.
You will collaborate across the business to determine the most effective pricing strategy for different product ranges. Pricing decisions will not be considered in isolation, but alongside customer behaviour, market position, product demand, volume, margin, competitor activity and customer acquisition.
Beyond pricing, you will use data to identify wider commercial opportunities, including products with growth potential and trends in customer, competitor and category performance.
Working alongside our Pay-Per-Click & Digital Insights team, you will develop a broader commercial understanding by combining commercial, website and marketing data to understand how pricing, customer behaviour and acquisition interact. You will also help develop competitor benchmarking using commercial software and in-house solutions with AI-assisted development.
You will test ideas and measure their impact, using data to understand what changed, why and whether the expected commercial outcome was achieved.
The ideal candidate will have strong numerical ability, curiosity and commercial awareness, with an interest in understanding why something has happened rather than simply reporting that it has. They will become comfortable working with large datasets, identifying patterns, challenging assumptions and turning their findings into clear, evidence-led recommendations.
The areas that you will be exposed to includes:
- Pricing and margin analysis
- Price elasticity, price breaks and volume discount analysis
- Sales and product performance analysis
- Customer purchasing behaviour and segmentation
- Competitor benchmarking and market analysis
