About Kite Packaging's Portsmouth Regional Distribution Centre
Kite Packaging’s South Coast Regional Distribution Centre is based just outside Portsmouth in Waterlooville, strategically located near major roads (A27, M27, A3) the RDC services key accounts in Dorset, Hampshire, West Sussex, East Sussex, Surrey, Jersey, Guernsey, IOW and much more.
The highly experienced team is led by Managing Partner Richard Anderton and delivers high levels of service and solutions, offering first class expertise to help its customers reduce their total packaging costs.
Kite, South Coast, further enhance their service offering by utilising Kite’s teams of specialist engineers in the following areas:- ‘in-the-box solutions’, ‘load retention’ (including stretch wrap audits), ‘aerospace and automotive’ (a team of specialist designers using Solidworks), and linerless labels. To further enable the delivery of high quality added value solutions, the South Coast team have a Mobile Test Facility which can be taken directly to customers premises, where full product testing and demonstrations can be carried out.
A fleet of fully owned trucks manned by Kite’s own drivers regularly deliver to Southampton, Poole, Bournemouth, Salisbury, Andover, Newbury, Basingstoke, Guildford, Crawley, Chichester, Brighton, Worthing and Eastbourne.

Kite Packaging Portsmouth - Case study
A South Coast based business challenged Kite to reduce the amount of expanded foam used to pack their precision engineered and high value aerospace parts.
The local team worked with Kite’s specialist service and solutions team using Wrap & Hold to develop an alternative pack that eliminated the foam, reduced the time to pack the products by 70% and significantly reduced the pack price by over 25%. The overall size of the outer corrugated carton also reduced by over 20% which will reduce the customer’s logistics costs by a further 8% - this is a typical example of the work Kite do for customers, reducing not only packaging costs but further costs in the supply chain.

Conveniently located just a few minutes from the M27 motorway, the Kite Packaging Portsmouth regional distribution centre is easily accessible from anywhere in the South Coast. Please refer to the map to the right for a visual guide.
From London:
Leave the M25 at junction 10 and take the A3 South. Remain on A3(M) to Junction 3. At the roundabout turn right (3rd exit) onto Hulbert Road, and go straight over the next roundabout. At the second roundabout turn left, and from the middle lane, go straight over the next roundabout, and then right at the next roundabout. After ½ a mile turn left – though you will see our building well before the junction.
From Bournemouth/Southampton/Portsmouth:
Head East on the M27/A27 until you get to the A3. Take the A3 heading North to Junction 3. At the roundabout, take the 1st left onto Hulbert Road, and go straight over the next roundabout. At the second roundabout turn left, and from the middle lane, go straight over the next roundabout, and then right at the next roundabout. From Chichester/Worthing/Hastings:
Head West on the A27 until you get to the A3 just after Emsworth. Take the A3 heading North to Junction 3.
